Meet Rivera
Rivera is a wife and mom. She has been happily married to David Douthit for 28 years and they have two adult children, Hunter and Haley. Early in their marriage, David and Rivera lived 9 years in Northern California. In 2004 they moved back to Rivera’s hometown in North Carolina to raise their children. David and Rivera have been owners of a successful small business in Mooresville, NC since their move almost 20 years ago.
Rivera was also a critical care nurse in both states. After ten years in nursing, her focus shifted to her children. She decided to stay home with them understanding that they would only be little once and those were their most impressionable years.
God later called Rivera to ministry, mostly to women. She is a clear and effective communicator of truth and desires to see people healed and set free through personal encounter with Holy Spirit.
Through her writing and teaching, she has led people into deeper revelation of the Father’s love. Author of Intimacy: into me You see and Zero Gravity, Rivera teaches people to hear the voice of God more clearly and stands on the Bible as the infallible truth and final Word. With a beautifully straightforward and candid style, she inspires people to know their identity and authority in Christ.
